Kalau satu produk secara konstan dikonsumsi terus menerus maka pertambahan tingkat kepuasannya akan semakin menurun. Itu salah satu alasan adanya penawaran seperti beli 2 gratis 1 atau semacamnya, karena orang akan berhenti membeli pada kuantitas tertentu karena tingkat kepuasannya akan menurun.
